American Legion Post 21 has partnered with Kenosha funeral homes to provide “One Last Honor” for deceased Veterans and retired American flags in our community.

The “One Last Honor” program was designed to patriotically retire American flags surrendered to the Legion by Kenosha residents, while honoring Veterans and flags with one last patriotic act. Families of deceased Veterans may choose to bury a retired flag with the Veteran or include one in the cremation.

We are so grateful for our partners that provide Veterans one last honor and retire flags with dignity.

We never forget the sacrifice of our Veterans, and the meaning of the flag. Our freedom is the result of the sacrifice of Veterans, and we are grateful.

Flags may be placed in the American Legion drop box located at 504 58th Street, Kenosha.
